Detex Advantex 20 Series 48 in Wide Stile Surface Vertical Rod Exit Device

The Detex Advantex 20 Series is Detex's super-heavy-duty surface vertical rod exit device for wide stile double doors without a mullion. The top and bottom rods latch into the head and the floor, so a pair of doors can close against each other with no center post. Detex supplies every 20 Series with stainless steel top and bottom rod covers and an ADA ramped bottom bolt cover, and every exposed surface is finished over stainless steel with a PVD process. This is the 48 in device for a 7 ft door, in satin stainless steel (630) with hex dogging. Detex describes its products as assembled in America.

Fire-rated doors

This is the panic hardware version. Detex's fire exit hardware is a separate model with an F prefix in the part number, so do not use this device on a fire-rated opening. Outside trim is sold separately.
