Pemko 217DPK36 36" 3' Door Shoe with PemkoPrene Dark Bronze Finish

The 217 Series U-shaped door shoe protects and seals the bottom of 1.75" thick doors. It fills gaps up to half an inch and provides insulation against sound and light. This door shoe is installed on fire-rated doors to maintain their sealing performance during both normal operation and emergency conditions.

Pemko manufactures this door shoe with anodized aluminum construction and PemkoPrene elastomer insert in a dark bronze finish. The proprietary PemkoPrene material maintains flexibility across temperature ranges while providing durable weather sealing. Custom cut to 36" length for precise fit.

Fire-rated door assemblies require proper gasketing to pass UL 10C testing under positive pressure conditions. For doors that self-close after opening, ANSI A156.4 door closers work with bottom sealing systems to maintain compartmentation.
