The 434APKL30 full mortise automatic door bottom creates a strong seal against air, moisture, smoke, and sound infiltration at the door threshold. This weatherization component installs into the bottom rail of wood or metal doors where it automatically drops down when the door closes to seal the gap. Pemko designed this unit to solve energy loss and environmental control problems in commercial buildings.

The low-force mechanism actuates a drop-down bar with PemkoPrene elastomer seal when the door is in the closed position. This 30-inch length can be field-trimmed up to 2 inches for exact fit. The reversible design works on both left and right hand doors. The mill finish anodized aluminum construction provides durability in high-traffic applications.
