This full mortise automatic door bottom creates a strong seal under doors to prevent air, light, sound, fire, smoke, dust, and moisture infiltration. The 434APKL36 mounts into the door bottom and features a low-force actuating mechanism that drops down a PemkoPrene seal bar when the door closes. Pemko designed this 36-inch unit for high-end wood and metal doors where weatherization and code compliance matter.

The mill finish aluminum housing withstands heavy use while the proprietary PemkoPrene seal material maintains flexibility across temperature ranges. This door bottom can be field-trimmed up to 2 inches and installs reversibly on either hand.
