Eagle Manufacturing 2.5 Gallon Safety Can for Combustibles Type I Flame Arrester Green

This Eagle Manufacturing 2.5-gallon Type I safety can handles oil and combustible liquids for maintenance shops and equipment yards. Built from 24-gauge galvanized steel with seamless construction, it measures 10 inches high by 11.25 inches diameter and weighs 5.7 pounds empty. The green color coding identifies it for oil storage per industry standards, and it works great for gas-oil mixtures in 2-stroke engines.

The seamless deep-drawn steel body eliminates leak points you get with welded cans. A self-closing lid with leak testing prevents spills, while the non-sparking flame arrester stops explosions by dissipating heat. Internal pressure relief kicks in at 3-5 psi to prevent rupture. The can meets OSHA and NFPA 30 requirements, carries UL listing and FM approval, and complies with CARB and New York City Fire Code. All Eagle safety cans come from their Wellsburg, West Virginia facility.

The 1.65-inch pour opening works with optional funnels for clean transfers into small tanks. Fixed steel handle makes carrying easy even when loaded to the full 27-pound capacity.
