Oil-only sorbents like this one repel water while soaking up petroleum products, hydraulic fluid, and other hydrocarbon-based liquids.

The pad construction allows it to float on water while absorbing only oil-based fluids. This selective absorption prevents the pad from getting waterlogged during outdoor cleanup or in areas where water and oil mix. Brady SPC manufactures these sorbents at their Somerset, New Jersey facility.
