Cylinder Carts

Carts for moving compressed gas cylinders: two-cylinder welding carts for oxygen with acetylene or propane, firewall carts with a barrier between the cylinders, narrow carts for tight aisles, single-cylinder and small two-cylinder carts, and carts that carry a welding machine. Pick by the cylinders you carry, the ground you roll over, and how the cylinders are kept between jobs. The cylinder cart selection guide walks through each choice.

Which cart for which job

Check your cylinders first. Compare your measured cylinder diameters with the cylinder capacity and the options on each product page. How to check your cylinders.

Storage status matters. OSHA's separation rule applies to oxygen cylinders in storage, but a pair left on a cart between jobs is not automatically in storage, and OSHA treats general-industry workplaces and construction sites differently. Read about cylinders in use versus in storage and the separation rule before you choose a cart, and the gas cylinder storage guide for securing cylinders and caps.
