Safety Gloves
Cut-resistant gloves, general work gloves, and task-specific hand protection for construction, metal fabrication, warehouse, and general industry. Cut-rated gloves are classified under the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard (A1 through A9), which measures the force required to cut through the glove material.
Glove selection depends on the task. Workers using hand and power tools under OSHA 1926.301 need cut and impact protection. Electrical work covered by NFPA 70E requires voltage-rated insulating gloves with leather protectors, not cut-resistant gloves. Always match the glove to the hazard.
