Pivot Hinges

A pivot set carries a door on a top pivot and a bottom pivot instead of on hinges along its edge. Center hung pivots sit in the middle of the door's thickness and are used with a floor closer or a center hung overhead concealed closer. Offset pivots sit toward the face of the door and can be used with an offset hung overhead concealed closer. The bottom pivot mounts either in the floor or on the side jamb.
