Exit Signs

Photoluminescent exit signs that meet the means-of-egress marking requirements of the International Building Code, the International Fire Code, and NFPA 101 without wiring, batteries, or radioactive tritium. They charge from the ambient light already in the space and stay readable through a power loss.

Choosing a viewing distance

UL 924 listings are rated to a specific viewing distance. Measure the farthest point along the egress path from which the sign has to be legible: 50 ft covers most corridors, offices, and stair landings, while 100 ft suits long runs, warehouses, and open floor plates. Choosing a shorter rating than the actual sight line is the most common compliance miss.

Indoor, outdoor, and wet locations

Standard framed signs are listed for indoor use. Exterior corridors, parking structures, garden centers, pool enclosures, and washdown areas need a sign listed for outdoor and wet locations.

Mounting

Most signs here ship with hardware for wall, flag, ceiling, or conduit mounting, so the same part number covers a surface mount and a double-sided perpendicular hang. Conduit brackets are sold separately where a pendant mount is required.
