The 170A36 creates smooth floor transitions while meeting accessibility requirements at commercial doorways. This flat saddle threshold handles the height differential between flooring materials while providing weather protection and thermal insulation. Pemko designed this 36-inch threshold to solve ADA compliance issues and fire door assembly requirements in one installation.
The fluted aluminum surface provides slip resistance and durability in high-traffic areas. Mill finish anodized construction resists corrosion and wear. The 1/2-inch height profile keeps transitions within ADA slope limits while the 4-inch width spans typical door frame gaps.
