The 272A48 flat saddle threshold creates a smooth transition under doors where floor elevation changes. This 4-foot aluminum threshold spans doorway openings to eliminate tripping hazards while maintaining weather protection. Pemko designed this barrier-free threshold to solve ADA compliance issues at commercial door installations.

The 1/4-inch profile height keeps the threshold ADA compliant while the 6-inch width provides adequate coverage for most door frames. Mill finish anodized aluminum construction resists corrosion and wear in high-traffic areas. This threshold works with fire-rated door assemblies and includes mounting hardware for direct floor installation.

Fire-rated applications require proper testing of the entire door assembly, including thresholds. For complete UL 10C positive pressure testing requirements, door assemblies must meet NFPA 80 standards.
