Wright Tool
Wright Tool has hot-forged professional-grade hand tools in Ohio since 1927, starting from C. Nelson Wright selling tools out of the back of his car. Wright tools are forged from a proprietary Wright alloy steel and meet the ASME B107.100 industrial hand tool standard.
What Wright Tool makes
The Wright catalog runs heavy on sockets and ratchets, combination and impact wrenches, torque tools, and hammers. We stock Wright Tool SKUs, and 70 of those carry the ASME B107.100 listing and the Made in USA tag in our catalog. Our Wright lineup skews toward industrial, impact, and high-torque applications - browse the broader hand tools collection to compare against the Martin and Klein lines we also carry, or see the manufacturer's catalog at wrighttool.com.
Wright patented technology
Wright's tool design uses three patented features: Wright Drive 2.0, which distributes fastener contact over a larger surface to reduce rounding; WrightGrip 2.0, which maximizes wrench contact on the flats; and Wright Spline, which engages damaged or rounded fasteners. The Wright family of impact and high-torque tools relies on the Wright alloy steel and these contact patterns to handle the kind of work where standard chrome-vanadium would deform.
