The First Aid Only Water-Jel Heat Shield combines fire suppression and burn care in one wall-mounted canister. The 72 in x 60 in blanket is 100 percent worsted wool with an intercellular weave that absorbs up to 13 times its own weight soaked in a scientifically formulated water-based cooling gel. Used on a person whose clothing has caught fire it puts out the flames stops burn progression cools the skin relieves pain and protects the burn area from contamination.
- Water-soluble bacteriostatic and biodegradable gel carrier
- Can be placed directly over clothing and will not stick to burn injuries
- Durable easily identifiable orange canister with handle protects the blanket from outside elements
