The WEILER Vortec Pro Wolverine flap disc delivers fast cutting performance on metal fabrication jobs at a value price point. This 4-1/2 inch Type 27 flat disc features 60 grit zirconia alumina abrasive with phenolic backing and 5/8"-11 UNC threaded mounting. Maximum RPM rating of 13,000 makes it compatible with standard right angle grinders for grinding applications.
The disc construction combines zirconia alumina grain with standard density flap configuration for consistent performance. The phenolic backing plate provides durability under grinding loads. This product meets ANSI B7.1 abrasive wheel safety standards and is RoHS compliant. Blue color coding helps identify the 60 grit rating on the job site.
Built for fabrication shops and general metal grinding work, this flap disc handles stock removal and surface preparation on steel and similar materials. The coarse 60 grit works well for initial material removal before switching to finer grades for finishing operations.
