The S44D17 is an adhesive-backed silicone gasket for fire-rated door assemblies that need tight perimeter sealing without high closing forces. This 204-inch coil installs on door frames to seal gaps as small as 1/16 inch and prevent smoke migration during fire events. Pemko designed this gasket for frames where space is limited but code compliance is critical.

The silicone material compresses easily while maintaining its seal integrity under extreme temperatures. The adhesive backing eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners on most frame profiles.
