The Pemko S88 is a self-adhesive silicone bulb seal for the door frame. It mounts on the side of the frame, begins compressing at 1/4 in and, in Pemko's words, compresses to seal up to a 1/16 in gap. Pemko also makes it with perforations for behavioral health applications (the P option, not sold here).

Pemko's Category H statement adds "without hose stream." These gasketing classifications do not by themselves establish the rating of a complete opening. Pemko also lists S88 under Category G edge-sealing systems, which Pemko describes as surface applied to frames or doors and required for Category B doors
