Ives

Ives says its history began in 1876 with patented door and window accessories, that it invented the mortise door bolt, and that its founder was H.B. Ives. Ives is part of Allegion, alongside brands such as LCN, Von Duprin and Schlage, and makes architectural accessories for commercial doors: hinges, pivots, door pulls and protection plates, flush bolts, strikes and coordinators, and door stops, holders and silencers.

Hinges, plates and flush bolts for commercial doors

Ives' 5BB1 is a standard weight, five knuckle ball bearing hinge in steel, brass or stainless steel. Its 8400 protection plates are .050 in thick with four beveled edges and countersunk holes, and its automatic flush bolts latch the inactive leaf of a pair of doors whenever the active leaf closes. Ives also makes the dust proof strikes that go under a flush bolt's bottom bolt, and wall stops, floor stops and silencers. See our butt hinges, door pulls and protection plates and flush bolts and strikes.
