Eagle Manufacturing has operated from the same Wellsburg, West Virginia facility since 1894, making it one of America's longest-running industrial safety manufacturers. For over 130 years, every Eagle product has been stamped, welded, molded, assembled, and packaged in Wellsburg, maintaining complete domestic manufacturing control. The company earned ISO-9001:2015 certification and now operates as part of the Justrite Safety Group while preserving its West Virginia manufacturing heritage.
Fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, laboratories, and manufacturing plants rely on Eagle products to meet critical safety regulations. Eagle's Type I and Type II safety cans carry UL Listed and FM Approved certifications, ensuring compliance with OSHA 1910.106 Flammable Liquid Storage Requirements. The company's flammable storage cabinets meet NFPA 30 Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code standards, while spill containment products satisfy EPA SPCC regulations and 40 CFR 264.175 requirements.
Eagle manufactures safety cans in multiple configurations including Type I metal cans in standard gallon sizes, stainless steel variants, disposal cans with flame arrestors, and bench cans with dasher screen lids. Color-coded options include red for flammables, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel, and green for combustibles, all featuring seamless deep-drawn construction and non-sparking flame arresters. The company also produces oily waste cans with hands-free operation and biohazardous waste cans with foot-operated lids.
The flammable cabinet line includes bench-top 2-gallon units, standard 45-gallon cabinets, and 110-gallon two-drum vertical models, plus specialized acid and corrosive cabinets in blue. Eagle's spill containment products range from four-drum plastic pallets and modular drum platforms to IBC containment units and drum funnels. Additional product lines cover material handling equipment like plastic dollies and dockplate kits, plus outdoor smoking receptacles in the SafeSmoker series.
Eagle's seamless deep-drawn construction eliminates top and side seams on safety cans, creating stronger containers than traditional welded designs. All Type I cans feature self-closing, leak-tested lids with trilingual safety labels meeting CARB acceptance for California sales. This manufacturing approach, combined with continuous West Virginia production, has made Eagle a preferred specification among safety professionals and facility managers nationwide.
