Do these work for children?
Yes. The CR2 uses one electrode set for adults and children ages 1 to 8 or under 55 lb; press the Child Mode button on the device for reduced-energy pediatric therapy. There is no separate pediatric pad set for the CR2.
When do electrodes need replacing?
After any use of the AED, or at their expiration date; and the CR2 self-monitoring reports electrode status, so a WiFi-connected unit tells you before it becomes a problem.
