Saf-T-Cart 402-16FW Firewall Cylinder Cart

The Saf-T-Cart 402-16FW carries an oxygen cylinder and a fuel-gas cylinder with a steel firewall between them, chained in, on 16 in pneumatic tires. Saf-T-Cart designs it for rough terrain and says the tires work on smooth floors as well.

Why the firewall: OSHA requires oxygen cylinders in storage to be kept 20 ft from fuel-gas cylinders and combustible materials, or separated from them by a noncombustible barrier at least 5 ft high with a fire-resistance rating of at least half an hour (OSHA 1910.253(b)(4)(iii)). Saf-T-Cart states its firewalls are at least 60 in tall, block the line of sight between the oxygen and fuel-gas cylinders and carry a 30-minute burn rating, and says its firewall carts meet and exceed OSHA 1910.253.
