Saf-T-Cart 553-20 Welding Cylinder Cart with Lifting Eye

The Saf-T-Cart 553-20 carries an oxygen cylinder and an acetylene cylinder, held by two 1/4 in steel permaclamps, on 20 in steel wheels, with a lifting eye rated 1,000 lb. Saf-T-Cart builds it for large construction sites.

Pick the build:

• Standard (553-20): Saf-T-Cart lists cylinder capacity as 9-1/2 in and 12-1/2 in diameter.
• Widened for propane (553-20P): widened for a 100 lb propane or 115 lb propylene cylinder (Saf-T-Cart's catalog).

No firewall: the oxygen and fuel-gas cylinders ride side by side. OSHA requires oxygen cylinders in storage to be kept 20 ft from fuel-gas cylinders or behind a noncombustible barrier at least 5 ft high with at least a half-hour fire-resistance rating (OSHA 1910.253(b)(4)(iii)), and cylinders left on a cart between jobs can count as storage: when a firewall cart is the right call. For that, Saf-T-Cart builds this frame with a firewall: the Saf-T-Cart 553-20FW Firewall Cylinder Cart.
