The Kidde KF9723-C Surface Mounted Fire Extinguisher Cabinet holds one extinguisher up to 20 lb dry chemical or a 2.5 gallon water unit. This heavy-duty galvanized steel cabinet features tempered safety glass and measures 10 x 28 x 8 inches inside.

The cabinet includes a Break Rite handle that eliminates the need for emergency hammers or tools to access the extinguisher quickly. The electrostatically applied, thermally fused finish resists chipping and peeling, and the vandal-resistant assembly has a provision for an optional padlock.

This surface-mounted design installs directly to walls without requiring recessed mounting, making it suitable for retrofit applications where wall cavity access is limited. Placement and mounting height follow the NFPA 10 requirements.
