Klein Tools
Klein Tools has manufactured professional-grade hand tools in the United States since 1857. The company makes most of its products in the U.S. and supplies professional electricians, ironworkers, telecommunications and HVAC technicians, and other trade professionals with the daily-use tools their work depends on.
What Klein Tools makes
The Klein product mix covers electrical hand tools (wire strippers, crimping pliers, cable cutters, fish tape, voltage testers), drop-forged general-purpose tools (lineman pliers, side cutters, slip-joint and tongue-and-groove pliers), insulated screwdrivers, ironworker tools, and spud wrenches. Most cutting and gripping tools are forged steel and many cutting edges are heat-treated for service life. Insulated tools and electrical-safety standards
Klein's insulated hand tools are listed under ASTM F1505 for insulated hand tools and IEC 60900 for 1000V live-electrical work. These ratings apply to the insulated screwdrivers, pliers, and cutters in the Klein insulated line, which are intended for use within the energized-work boundaries defined by NFPA 70E.
