Hinged access doors set flush in a floor: angled frames cast into new concrete, frames for openings already cut, drainable and recessed-pan doors, and fire-rated floor doors. Priced per project. Federal masters, older manuals and water-utility specs often schedule floor doors under 08 31 00, 08 31 13 or 05 50 00 instead.

Priced per project

Metal louvers set into a cutout in a door to pass air between rooms: steel and aluminum louvers with fixed or adjustable blades, exterior and security models, a hurricane-rated louver and fire-rated louvers that close on a fusible link. Priced per project. CSI gives door louvers their own number, 08 91 26, but project manuals rarely issue it, and most specify door louvers inside the door sections, 08 11 13 or 08 14 16.
