The JL Industries FES5 is a freestanding plastic stand that puts a portable fire extinguisher anywhere a wall mount is not an option. It is built for temporary placements like construction sites: tip-resistant, stackable for storage and transport, with embossed FIRE signs on the sides, water drain holes, a flag insert hole, and handle cutouts for carrying. It holds portable extinguishers from 5 to 20 pounds. The extinguisher is sold separately.

Where it fits
Construction sites and other temporary placements where extinguisher coverage moves with the work and a wall mount is not an option. Placement and travel-distance requirements still follow NFPA 10; the stand changes how the extinguisher is held, not where it needs to be.

Which extinguishers fit this stand?
The manufacturer rates it for portable fire extinguishers from 5 to 20 pounds. If you are unsure about a particular unit, tell us the model and we will confirm before you order.
Does it come with the extinguisher?
No. The stand ships alone, and the extinguisher is sold separately. We carry 5, 10, and 20 lb ABC dry chemical extinguishers that pair with it.
Can it be used outdoors?
It is built for temporary use on construction sites: polypropylene with water drain holes. For a permanent outdoor installation consider an outdoor-rated cabinet instead, which also protects the extinguisher itself.
Is it stable?
The stand is tip-resistant by design with a 20-7/8 inch base. It is freestanding rather than anchored; where you need an anchored mount, use a wall bracket or cabinet instead.
