JL Industries Ambassador Steel Semi-Recessed Fire Extinguisher Cabinet 10 lb 1016V10

The JL Industries Ambassador 1016V10 is a semi-recessed steel fire extinguisher cabinet for a 10 lb extinguisher, made in the USA. The tub recesses into the wall while the 1-1/2 in square trim projects from the wall face, so it fits standard stud walls while staying within the ADA 4 in projection limit. The vertical-duo clear acrylic door has a continuous hinge that opens 180 degrees and a zinc-plated pull handle with roller catch.

Sized for 2.5 to 10 lb portable extinguishers. Fit is set by the extinguisher's cylinder diameter against this cabinet's 6 in interior (tub) depth, not by weight — a standard 10 lb dry-chemical unit fits, while a wide-body "short" 10 lb or a 20 lb unit is too deep and needs a larger cabinet.
