JL Industries Clear Vu Bubble Stainless Steel Semi-Recessed Fire Extinguisher Cabinet 10 lb 1537F25

The JL Industries Clear Vu 1537F25 is a semi-recessed fire extinguisher cabinet with a clear acrylic bubble in place of a framed door, made in the USA. This is the #4 brushed stainless steel build, specified where the cabinet has to survive washdown, salt air, or frequent cleaning: kitchens, food processing, healthcare, and coastal buildings. The dome keeps the extinguisher in plain sight, and the F25 door style opens by hand on a roller catch.

Extinguisher compatibility

The tub is a shallow 4 in deep with the bubble projecting 2-1/2 in in front of it, and JL requires the extinguisher to hang from a J-hook mounted to the back of the tub. JL rates this size for its standard 2.5 to 10 lb dry-chemical extinguishers, plus clean-agent units to 5 lb and 5 lb CO2. Where this model fits

The 3 in rolled trim projects further than the flat and square trims in this series, which is why it is not one of the ADA models. In a corridor or other means of egress, use the 1535 flat trim or the 1536 1-1/2 in square instead.
