The JL Industries Embassy 5624V10 is a trimless, fully recessed fire extinguisher cabinet with a clear satin anodized aluminum door, made in the USA. The Embassy has no trim ring at all: a 1 in flange on the white steel tub covers the cut wallboard edge and a slightly oversized aluminum door overlaps it, hung on two concealed hinges with a concealed pull, so the wall shows a clean satin rectangle and nothing else. The vertical-duo door pairs the aluminum panel with a narrow clear acrylic window.

Yes, this cabinet is sized for a 10 lb extinguisher. Fit is governed by the extinguisher's cylinder diameter versus the cabinet's interior depth, so confirm the cylinder dimensions on your extinguisher's cut sheet against the cabinet dimensions listed above.
Is this cabinet fire-rated?
No, this is a standard (non-rated) cabinet, which is fine in a non-fire-rated wall or for surface mounting. To recess a cabinet into a fire-rated wall, choose a fire-rated (FX2) model.
How does this cabinet mount?
It is a fully-recessed cabinet: the tub sits inside the wall, so it needs a wall cavity deeper than the tub. The trim style is in the specifications above.
Do I need a key to open this cabinet?
No. This door style ships without a lock. The door is held shut by a roller catch and pulls open by hand, so the annual extinguisher inspection needs no key and no tools. JL does offer a Saf-T-Lok cylinder lock with two keys on other door styles in this series, so ask us for a quote if the site needs a cabinet that locks.
