Halotron I is a clean agent extinguishing chemical that leaves no residue, conducts no electricity, and is safe around energized equipment. It replaces the older Halon 1211 agent banned under the Montreal Protocol, with far lower ozone depletion and global warming potential. Halotron extinguishers carry a Class A, B, and C rating, which makes them a single-unit solution for facilities that mix combustibles, flammable liquids, and live electrical equipment.
Primary use cases are data centers, server rooms, telecom closets, laboratories, clean rooms, control rooms, and aircraft hangars. NFPA 75 governs fire protection for information technology equipment rooms. NFPA 2001 covers clean agent suppression systems more broadly.
