The JL Industries Embassy 5614W10 is a trimless, fully recessed steel fire extinguisher cabinet with a locking door, made in the USA. The Embassy has no trim ring at all: a 1 in flange on the tub covers the cut wallboard edge and a slightly oversized door overlaps it, hung on two concealed hinges with a concealed pull, so the wall reads as a clean white rectangle. The vertical-duo door pairs a steel panel with a narrow clear acrylic window, and the W door style adds JL's Saf-T-Lok cylinder lock with two keys. It is the same cabinet as the 5614V10 we stock, with the lock.

Yes, this cabinet is sized for a 10 lb extinguisher. Fit is governed by the extinguisher's cylinder diameter versus the cabinet's interior depth, so confirm the cylinder dimensions on your extinguisher's cut sheet against the cabinet dimensions listed above.
Is this cabinet fire-rated?
No, this is a standard (non-rated) cabinet, which is fine in a non-fire-rated wall or for surface mounting. To recess a cabinet into a fire-rated wall, choose a fire-rated (FX2) model.
How does this cabinet mount?
It is a fully-recessed cabinet: the tub sits inside the wall, so it needs a wall cavity deeper than the tub. The trim style is in the specifications above.
Do I need a key to open this cabinet?
For routine access, yes, and two keys are included: this door style has JL's Saf-T-Lok cylinder lock, so the annual extinguisher inspection means unlocking the door with the key and pulling it open on its continuous hinge, and nothing gets broken. In an emergency, no key is needed: the Saf-T-Lok is built so a sharp pull on the door breaks or bends a replaceable plastic cam and opens the cabinet, which is how it deters tampering without blocking access. JL makes the same cabinet without the lock if the site would rather rely on the roller catch alone.
