JL Industries Panorama Stainless Semi-Recessed Frameless Fire Extinguisher Cabinet 10 lb 1037P42

The JL Industries Panorama 1037P42 is a semi-recessed fire extinguisher cabinet with a frameless door and 304 stainless steel door and trim, made in the USA. The frameless build is what separates the Panorama from every other cabinet line: the glazing runs to the edge of the opening with no surrounding door frame. The 42 glazing is 3/16 in white acrylic with black vertical FIRE EXTINGUISHER lettering, so the cabinet is identified from down the corridor without putting the extinguisher itself on display. The trim is #4 satin stainless, the finish a spec calls for where the surrounding door hardware and wall protection are stainless.

JL rates this tub for Cosmic and Galaxy extinguishers from 2.5 to 10 lb, Mercury from 2.5 to 5 lb, and the 5 lb Sentinel. Where this model fits

Semi-recessed suits a wall too shallow to take a fully recessed tub: the rough opening is only 3-1/8 in deep and the rest of the cabinet sits proud behind a 3 in rolled trim. Even so it stays within the 4 in protrusion limit, so it is usable in a corridor or means of egress. This is the stainless build of the same cabinet as the steel 1017P42, so it is the one to order when the schedule or the finish hardware calls for stainless and the opening is already cut for a 10-1/2 in by 24 in tub. JL builds this door in eleven other colour and lettering combinations, in black or red acrylic and in horizontal or ascending lettering, and the same cabinet is made with a flat or square trim, with a stainless tub, with a Saf-T-Lok, in #6, #7 or #8 stainless finishes, and with clear polycarbonate glazing.
