Buckeye W-65 is a 65 lb wheeled Halotron I clean-agent extinguisher rated 4-A:60-B:C.
The W-65 delivers a large charge of residue-free, non-conductive Halotron I agent from a mobile two-wheel cart, for protecting big electrical rooms, data halls, generator and transformer areas, and aircraft ramps where a hand-held unit is not enough. Listed to ANSI/UL 711. Built on DOT/TC compliant steel cylinders with a rugged welded steel cart frame, backed by Buckeye's 6-year manufacturer's warranty. How many do I need?
Under NFPA 10, position extinguishers so travel distance to one never exceeds 75 ft for Class A and 50 ft for Class B. One 4-A:60-B:C wheeled unit protects a sensitive-equipment area within that range; add a unit per protected room or asset zone.
Does this extinguisher come with an inspection tag?
No. New extinguishers ship untagged. A service tag records maintenance performed on a unit that is already in service, so there is nothing to record on a new one yet. Under NFPA 10 the annual maintenance is done by a trained person and the tag is attached then. The monthly visual inspection is one you can do yourself.
