JL Industries Cosmopolitan Stainless Steel Recessed Fire Extinguisher Cabinet 10 lb 1035F10

The JL Industries Cosmopolitan 1035F10 is a fully recessed stainless steel fire extinguisher cabinet for a 10 lb extinguisher, made in the USA. The 3/8 in flat square trim sits nearly flush with the wall, and the full-view door is a single clear acrylic pane, so the extinguisher is visible at a glance. Door and trim are 304 stainless steel in a #4 finish over a white powder-coated steel tub, specified where a painted steel cabinet will not hold up: commercial kitchens, food processing, healthcare, laboratories and washdown areas. The door swings on a stainless continuous hinge that opens 180 degrees, with a zinc-plated pull handle and roller catch. The photo shows the semi-recessed 1037F10, which has the same full-view door on a 3 in rolled trim. This cabinet has the 3/8 in flat trim and ships built as specified in the table below.

Extinguisher compatibility

JL rates this tub for Cosmic and Galaxy extinguishers from 2.5 to 10 lb, Mercury from 2.5 to 5 lb, and the 5 lb Sentinel. Before ordering, compare your extinguisher's overall height, handle included, with the tub's inside height and its overall width, hose included, with the inside width. Its cylinder diameter has to fit the 6 in tub depth. Allow at least 1 in of clearance each way and check that it fits through the door opening.
