Stored pressure means the cylinder ships fully charged and ready to operate — pull the pin, squeeze the lever, sweep. No nitrogen cartridge to install, no regulator to verify. The trade-off is a narrower operating temperature range than the cartridge-operated variants; for outdoor or cold-environment use, the RG (cartridge-operated regulated) variant is the better choice.

Primary use cases are large-area Class A + Class B coverage: warehouse aisles, manufacturing cells, automotive shops, equipment dealerships, fuel-handling zones, and high-rack storage. NFPA 10 ordinary-hazard and extra-hazard classification places wheeled extinguishers in a separate category from handhelds and credits them toward extra-hazard occupancy protection at greater travel distances. OSHA 29 CFR §1910.157 workplace extinguisher selection rules apply to employer-provided units, and warehouse and rack-storage installations should also review OSHA materials-handling and storage requirements for travel-distance and obstruction provisions. How many do I need?

Under NFPA 10, position extinguishers so travel distance to one never exceeds 75 ft for Class A hazards and 50 ft for Class B. One 10-A:160-B:C wheeled unit covers a high-hazard area within that range; add a unit for each separate area or anything beyond those distances.

Does this extinguisher come with an inspection tag?

No. New extinguishers ship untagged. A service tag records maintenance performed on a unit that is already in service, so there is nothing to record on a new one yet. Under NFPA 10 the annual maintenance is done by a trained person and the tag is attached then. The monthly visual inspection is one you can do yourself.

Can I return this fire extinguisher?

Once shipped, charged fire extinguishers are not returnable. They are DOT-regulated hazardous materials (compressed gas, UN 1044) and cannot be shipped back through normal parcel carriers.
