Detex
Detex Corporation has built commercial life-safety door hardware in New Braunfels, Texas since its 1923 Delaware incorporation, with origins in a company Abraham A. Newman founded in 1878. The Detex product mix fills the gap between everyday door hardware and full access-control systems.
What Detex makes
Grade 1 panic exit devices, fire exit hardware, delayed-egress locks, battery- and hardwired-powered door alarms, low-energy automatic operators, and the accessories that integrate them with the rest of the opening. Exit device configurations include Rim, Surface Vertical Rod, Mortise, and Concealed Vertical Rod. Browse our rim exit devices, electronic exit devices, and door alarms for the Detex SKUs we stock. We carry Detex SKUs, all 15 tagged Made in USA.
